TAGI Award
The Toy and Game Industry Excellence Awards, or TAGI Awards, have come to be known as the Oscars of the Toy Industry. In November of 2009, Peggy Brown was honored to receive the TAGI Award for Excellence in Game Design, presented by Leslie Scott, the inventor of Jenga.
Other TAGI Awards that evening went to Bruce Lund for his humanitarian work, Betty James (in memoriam) for the Slinky, and the top honor, the Lifetime Achievement TAGI, went to Rueben Klamer, celebrating the 50th anniversary of his invention, The Game of Life.
